nabogo: Your Local Carpool App
nabogo is a local carpooling app available on the iPhone platform. With over 5,000 active users monthly in the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, and Norway, the app aims to facilitate carpooling for daily commutes and leisure activities. The app is completely free for users, thanks to partnerships with the public sector.
For occasional rides, users can utilize the 'Ride Now' feature to receive carpool subsidies. Passengers can easily scan the driver's QR code upon entering the car, and drivers are reminded to end the trip within the app upon reaching the destination. Passengers ride for free and do not need the app installed.
For regular rides, users can create 'Regular Rides' to receive carpool subsidies. Passengers can request rides by finding the driver's route and sending a ride request for approval. Drivers also have the option to charge passengers a fixed price for rides exceeding 10 km (€1/km).
